To become a member of the Citizens On Patrol program, first check and see if there is a Citizens On Patrol program in your community. Contact them to let them know you are interested in joining their group. Members need to be over the age of 18, complete an application form and bring it to the local detachment. A security check will take place before approval. Once approved, the local group will welcome you and start the training process.
